One of the recommendations of the Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) Task Force’s Final Report to Governor Ivey in November 2024 was clear: Alabama must prepare its workforce to use emerging technologies like AI efficiently and responsibly by providing effective training resources.

This supports the State of Alabama’s ongoing efforts to ensure the safe, secure, and effective use of AI across executive-branch agencies and expands access to high-quality professional development, strengthening Alabama’s capacity to apply modern AI tools while upholding strong standards for privacy, security, human oversight, transparency, and content integrity.
