Willie Fields serves as Deputy Secretary for the Office of Information Technology.

Mr. Fields has more than 10 years of service to the State of Alabama and joined OIT in 2021 to assume the role of Director of Network Engineering. Before coming to OIT, he was the Chief Information Officer for the Alabama Department of Corrections.

Prior to his state service, Mr. Fields served 22 years as a Cyberspace Operations Officer in the U.S. Air Force.
