CARES is a Web-based Enterprise system designed to support multiple agencies and programs in a highly automated enrollment and eligibility process.
Currently, Medicaid, DHR, DPH and OIT play active roles in the CARES program; and more agencies are expected to be added over time.
The CARES Enterprise Development Project began on July 21, with the Federal Approval of an Advanced Planning Document outlining the design, development and implementation process for CARES.
The CARES Enterprise system is a development effort consisting of several development resource partners including state agencies, state universities and colleges and various vendors
from the Alabama Professional Services contract. To find out more information on how you can participate, download our Resource Partner Overview packet along with SOWs for the various human resources
needed for the CARES project.
Resource Partner Day
On July 30, 2014, the CARES Program will host a resource partner recruiting day to communicate the program needs to interested parties.
If your organization is interested in this project, please RSVP and attend this event to learn more information.
