OIT realizes the importance of notifying all agencies of critical incidents quickly and efficiently. We’re committed to this and are pleased to announce that we’re now in the process of implementing a statewide mass notification system.
Over the past year, OIT has been using the Everbridge® Mass Notification solution for time-sensitive internal communications and to engage support staff in resolving critical and high-priority incidents. A worldwide leader in unified communication, Everbridge includes in their services an IT Alerting function, which enables communication via email, voice, SMS/text messages, and push notifications. This service has proved to be beneficial within OIT and we are excited to now extend the service to our agency-partners.
